How we count visits
We count visits to tavia.co so we know which pages are read and where our data needs work. We do it without cookies and without storing anyone's IP address.
What we record
- The page you open, the site that sent you there (for example linkedin.com, never the full address) and your country.
- Whether you're on a phone, tablet or computer, from the width of the window.
- How long the page was open in front of you and how far down you scrolled.
- Profile PDFs and chart images you download, and what you type in the Market Intelligence search box.
What we don't
- No cookies and no tracking across sites. No advertising or analytics companies see any of it.
- Your IP address is never stored. To count unique visitors, it is mixed with the date and your browser into a code that changes every day and can't be turned back into the address.
- So we can't follow anyone from one day to the next, and we don't know who you are.
If you leave your email
After a profile PDF downloads, you can choose to leave an email so Tavia can get in touch. It's optional. We keep it with the page and file you downloaded, use it only to contact you, and delete it if you ask.
Opting out
Turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser and nothing is counted. Visit records are deleted after about 13 months. Questions or deletion requests: info@tavia.co.
